Group Fitness Class Descriptions
We offer a variety of group fitness classes for our members for all fitness levels. The classes are led by certified instructors. To see a schedule of classes, click here.
Strong abs help contribute to better core strength which benefits your balance and overall fitness. This 30-minute class uses various positions, stations and equipment to firm up the front, back and oblique abdominals.
Are you sore from this week's workouts? Is your body feeling a little beat down? Do you want to move around and stretch but not sure exactly what to do? This class can help! You'll get some blood flow in you muscles and loosen up anything that's feeling tight. Bring a lacrosse ball or tennis ball to class if you have one.
Body Sculpt/Weight Plus
This 60-minute class for all fitness levels is choreographed to music and will take you back to barbell basics with a low impact, high intensity class designed to build muscle endurance and strength. Proper form and technique are emphasized throughout class as you wake up your major muscle groups and feel the blood pumping. This class is the perfect complement to any cardiovascular training schedule and will focus on toning those key muscle groups. Build strength, tone muscle, lose fat, and be strong for life!
Boot Camp & Cross Training
The only thing you can expect by coming to these classes is that your heart will receive a great conditioning workout and your muscles will receive a great burn. Classes will include a variety of plyometrics, calisthenics, tabata intervals, functional movements and weight-training with dumbbells, barbells, medicine balls, etc. No two classes will ever be the same.
This is a wonderful class for all fitness levels looking to improve balance through core strength and stability. We’ll always incorporate a B.O.S.U. (Both Sides Utilized) ball into class but some classes will be more cardiovascular heavy and others more muscle strength and conditioning dominant. Even if improved balance isn’t one of your goals we promise you’ll leave this class with a great workout and a ton of fun!
A high intensity class that incorporates cardio boxing moves, bodyweight strength exercises, agility and some coordination. Take your body to the next level with this challenging class, work up a good sweat, burn a lot of calories and have some fun!
Come to this class prepared to work all the muscles of your core! Abdominal muscles and middle and lower back muscles will be put to use. A wide variety of equipment such as mats, medicine balls, body bars, body weight are used. This class is low-impact; no jumping or pounding on your joints!
Hips, Abs, Butts, and Incredible Thighs are the focus for this low impact but high intensity class. All fitness levels are welcome as we tone those trouble spots and make fitness a HABIT!
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is is a form of interval training with an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. This workout may be intense but you'll be glad you came!
A high intensity class that incorporates cardio kickboxing moves, bodyweight strength exercises, agility and some coordination. Take your body to the next level with this challenging class, work up a good sweat, burn a lot of calories and have some fun!
Sculpt, Cycle Chisel
Do you love our cycle classes but also wish you could get some weight lifting and plyometrics done in the same hour? In this class you'll be getting on and off the bikes throughout the workout. The workouts will include free weights, medicine balls, BOSU balls and bodyweight.
Build cardiovascular endurance and burn calories in this multi-level 30-60 minute class great for all ages and fitness levels. Members are instructed to use tension, cadence (speed), and bike position to guide themselves through exercises targeting various muscle groups. Bike safety and personalized bike set-up are reviewed with all members along with personalized heart rate zones in a recommended orientation. A towel and water bottle are required for class. A heart rate monitor and padded gel seat are optional, but recommended. Spin your way to a new you in a fun and energizing setting!
This class is a high intensity interval workout using almost every muscle in the body. The exercises are four minutes long with a twenty second work time and a ten second rest. Participants will improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, agility as well as burn calories throughout your day. All levels are welcome.
Tank Top Toned
It's never too early to get ready for summer! This class focuses on building upper body strength and toning shoulder and arms. Core and cardio intervals are also incorporated for variety. All fitness levels are welcome.
Cardio, strength, and core exercises are incorporated into this full body fitness class. Challenge yourself with plyometrics, upper and lower body strength building and core challenges using a variety of equipment. All fitness levels are welcome.
TRX is a full-body workout that challenges your core. It involves suspension training utilizing your entire body with gravity as resistance. Each move can be modified.
A spiritual and ascetic discipline which includes breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures and is practiced for health and relaxation. To see information on Yoga poses, click here.
